The FM spokesperson Liu Jianchao announces:

Mr.Ibrahim Gambari, the special advisor to the UN Secretary-General on the Myanmar issue will visit China from October 24 to 25. He will exchange views with Chinese side on current situation in Myanmar, the mediation efforts of the UN secretary-General and other issues.
