From April 21st-22th, 2008, Mr. Wu Zhongze, Vice minister of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China and Mr. Peter Honeth, state secretary of Ministry of Education and Research of Sweden held a meeting in Stockholm to carry out a mid-term review over several cooperative matters after the first session of joint committee meeting during the Sino-Swedish Science Week (September 2007). During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the progress that has been made in the past six months on cooperation programs in the field of telecommunication, new material, biotechnology and medicine, etc.. Moreover, Mr. Wu Zhongze stressed the interest to enhance collaboration in the field of renewable energy and joint research center in biomedicine, which was positively reciprocated by Mr. Peter Honeth. The two sides agreed to draw detailed plans on collaboration in these fields.
